As it seems that we have a few FF fans here, I thought we could use a thread about it. So, here it is.

My favourite FF is IX. I love the story and the characters (especially Zidane). Tetra Master is great (I'll post my record when I get around to it). The four hidden dudes in Memorium (sp?) are super hard but if you win you can pick some great cards.

I loved loved loooovveed all the FF's up until after they stopped making them for the PSX.. after the PSX one's, they just seemed to go downhill from there. They tried to make the games too elaborate and by doing so I felt that the "character personalities" got less and less as each new game was made(Not to mention a more boring storyline each time.) There were some gem's in the bunch.. but they weren't as good as the classics. Cllasiiics always beat out in the end. =)

I totally agree with you there. And really, unless they do something absolutely crazy, any new FF's would just be a repitition. What else can they do with a series with 13 (have they released 13 yet?) games? Old games ftw!

Yeah, and you're only counting their FF games. They use plenty of material from FF games to make some of the other games they've made. Some you can clearly see in the way they run that they didn't even take the time to finish it & just slap it on to the market to make some more moneyyy. Shocked

I do admire some of their collection game one's though. Preferably one's that featured games they never actually released to the US, and even one's they released that were already in the US because some of their fun new features & neat new cinema scenes n' such. Final Fantasy Origins, Final Fantasy Anthology, etc.

I actually really like FFX. A lot of people hate it because of the voice acting, but the story and stuff are really good.

Zidane fangirl here, too! Aw Ziddy...

That's the FF I got the least chance to play(school stuff n' whatnot was getting too much in the way.). I have it, too. I should go pop that in as I think that's one of the few FF's I haven't beat yet! I did see a lot of greatness in it, Smile
