Request for different types of banners for GR.

As I don't know if I want to just stick with the current banner, this will be a "constant" open request for new banners that you can try making. The only thing I want to make sure of before you go ahead and try to make one for us is that it's "gaming-related". Obviously putting a banner with a popular band or movie won't really match the theme of the board, now would it?

So if you want to make a banner for us that would be great and this would be the place to post it & such and maybe it miighht just be our new banner.

Now, if I were to make one, I wouldn't know any characters to put on it other than my favourites, which isn't a very broad range. Could I just do some funky design with the Gamer's Refuge name on it or do you absolutely want characters on it?

As long as it blends well & looks good it works for me!

Being a gamers community, i find it degrading if we do not put game characters.
This is a bit unsatisfying for it does not reflect the purpose of this forum.

Game characters or consoles are a must needless to say. It would suit the community more and promote with a positive and professional-type approach

Yeah, but it's not very easy to get a professional-looking design with a whole lot of game characters on it.., plus. I think promotion is what I should be worrying about more then anything lol
