Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3

These two are beasts of their time. They dominated everything in their path until they met each other. I personally dislike them both so they won't be chosen unfairly.
Call of Duty 4
Pros:
Pick up and play capability;
Very good weapon/"perk" system;
Maps that can be used for either big or small teams;
Interesting story;
Achievements that are possible;
Excellent control setup;
Easy ranking system.

Cons:
Only has single player achievements;
Story line sometimes drags on;
Story replay value is lost after first time;
Online gets stale;
Only 10 levels of prestige;
Over/Underpowered guns;
Maps come straight from story.
Makers arent as attentive as Bungie.



Halo 3:
Pros:
Interesting story;
Fun online;
Teabagging capabilities;
Very detailed;
You are able to play with people in your skill range;
Able to watch your games after you play them;
Able to edit maps;
attentive staff (learned the hard way).

Cons:
Story (like CoD4) has little to no replay value;
Multiplayer takes alot of time to master;
Controls not as fluent as in CoD4;
ranking system is somewhat flawed*;
Maps are often only for a certain size of parties;
Somewhat complex ranking system.


*ranking system somewhat flawed- by flawed I mean if someone has been playing on lone wolves and is a 50 then comes to Team Slayer and is a 1 then hes obviously going to dominate EVERYONE... its basically unfair to players who aren't as good as him/her.

I know I missed alot of stuff so thats why I would like you all to state why you think one is better than the other.

Nice comparison and I agree on some things but I dont agree on others. Halo campaign never gets old (for me), COD 4 isnt bad it just may not keep our attention as it used to, because we have played so much of it.
