Soooo. What's your favorite game of all time and why?

Everyone has a favorite game, tell us what yours is and why!

I believe my personal favorite is Chrono Cross. Lot's of characters to choose from, decent gfx for it's time, and a heck of an awesome storyline. The gameplay is pretty sweet as well. Although it didn't really connect as much till' later in the game with it's Prequel(Chrono Trigger.), it still ended up with tons of replay value & lot's of entertaining characters!

Tales of Symphonia. Without a doubt. I've played it so many times over I know it off by heart, and I could still play it some more.

The graphics are beautiful. They're so colourful and detailed, they even make the characters have facial expressions. Everything is very anime-ish, which I also like.

Speaking of the characters, they rock! They're all very distinct and have their own interesting and intertwining backstories.

The story is the real seller here. It's unlike anything else I've ever played, with so many plot twists you don't know where you're going to end up. It's also the longest game I've played for the GC (two discs on the GC? That's unheard of!).

favorite game not all the time but now its God of War 2 i have just bought it its a nice game , i love it the action the graphic and much more

Final Fantasy 9 was fun and all, but I wouldn't say it was the best or my favorite. Final Fantasy 7 had awesome gameplay, and Final Fantasy 8 has a great story, but was a bit lacking in the gameplay...If only they could find a way to combine them all into one..giant..awesomesauce...if only they could make it like FF6..which was just the best by far out of the whole series.

length and story mostly...(I'm trapped on second disk cause it keeps freezing when trying to load the place you go when you leave lindblum after the city gets wrecked)

favorite character all around is Freya...

I also like how the flans are actually flans (not being redundant)

card game is fun too...

Mine would have to be the game Legend of the Dragoon for the PS1. It had pretty good graphics for its time. The game was just so much fun, and I really loved the story line! But if anything else, I would have to say the MGS series...I just love that storyline

I actually felt as if that game seemed unfinished(Legend of Dragoon), maybe it was just me... or i'm thinking of a different game.. which could be a possibility!

Halo 1 was the first game that I really played hardcore.
