Well hey to ya, I'm the Admin.

Well hey there.

I'm the Admin here at Gamer's Refuge and i'm here to tell you a little about me & the reasoning behind why I made this board! First. I'll start with my reasoning!

Well, I am a fairly big forum-goer and I had a whole bunch of boards I zoomed around on and posted the place up. Those places started to die, the good entertaining forum members started to leave.. and then I was back to scratch. Nothing, zip, nada. Then I thought. Hey. Why deal with this when I can just make my own forum & talk about gaming n' such whenever I wanted to & keep the members coming back(As well as bring in the fun ones into the fold.)? Hence the Gamer's Refuge board was born!

This board is just the beginning of something great. If I can bring enough of a crowd in I may start to work on a webpage to stretch this place beyond just a fantastic board!

Sooo, about me. I suppose I could just list my hobbies. Obviously I love gaming. That's a pretty obvious given. Something most people don't seem to know about me despite how often I tend to bring it up is i'm a big Scifi fan. I'm into the whole Stargate/Star Trek... (not so much star wars.. although it's ok.), and a whole bunch of other shows like Doctor Who & Torchwood! If it's Scifi & a tv show i'll most likely watch it. One of my favorite games is that of the Final Fantasy Series and of course the underrated Chrono Cross(I haven't a clue why it's underrated, I think it's a fantastic game.. hence my avatar!), I'm a TV fanatic in general.. scifi is my favorite genre so to speak, but I do like other's as well. Prison Break i've been following since the beginning and I absolutely love that. A must watch show. Hmmm! What else. Movies that make you think are a plus in my mind. Annnd! On the opposite side of the spectrum, I also love comedies. I just like the one's that're just so utterly lame that they make you laugh. Yeah, i'm pretty random. I'm a music lover as well. I prefer Rock music the most but any others are fine..minus country and rap. bla. haha, those are annoying. I'm also a very big sports player, as well as a watcher of sports(for the photography side of things.) Favorite sport is prolly badminton but I dunno. Maybe baseball! I also love photography. Taking pictures=awesome.

Yeah, all I need now is to start bringing in the actual members. Any help bringing people in would be great. I'm slowly working on it but until I get a decent amount of members most of the promotion I have to do is through word of mouth.

Yeahh. That would be nice of ya'. I like how challenging you make updating your forum signature sound. It's like. A two minute thing lol
